2018 Hanmer Springs Pinot Noir Cult Wine

From a new organic grower in Hanmer, comes this delicious range of natural wines… Unfined, unfiltered and bottled with minimal sulphur additons. 

Grown on light clay soils, these grapes were harvested by hand in early April. The grapes were then sorted and destemmed for fermentation, using wild yeast. After spending a further 28 days on skins, the wine was drained off and pressed to age in a mixture of old and new French oak barrels for one year. Relatively light in colour, this Pinot is delicate and savoury, with smooth, silky tannins and fresh acidity.
