2018 Delinquente “Weeping Juan” Pink Pet Nat Cult Wine

90% Vermentino | 10% Montepulciano

Each variety was picked and fermented separately, the final wine was blended and bottled just prior to the Montepulciano finishing ferment to create the Petillant Naturel style sparkling. The combination of these varieties creates an interesting mix of fruit flavours, not just on the nose but especially the palate, with the Montepulciano adding beautiful sweet red berry flavours to the citrus, acidic hit of the Vermentino. Pleasantly creamy mouthfeel gives way to the spritzy, dry, acid driven finish, Weeping Juan has summer party vibe written all over his face.
